Aline Ferguson had a problem with law and
order. There wasn't enough of the first to keep the second.
In a place like New York City, more of both was needed, and Aline intended
to see the city got what it needed - singlehandedly, if necessary.
Her obsessive workaholism and remorseless quest to impose the law got her
on the promotional fast track. When the First Rikti War began, she
was a lieutenant bucking to be one of the youngest captains in the NYC
police |
department's history. her one off-duty
pastime was fencing, a sport at which she excelled due to her unusual height
and speed.
During the invasion, Aline, along with
other officers, was exposed to mutagenic biological weapons. Lucky
her, her metabolism became as tough as her personality. Unlucky her
-- in the wave of anti-mutant, anti-alien hysteria after the first invasions,
the NYPD kicked out all tested mutant officers.
Disgusted, but no less willing to stop
inflicting law, Aline suited up and came to Paragon City, katana in hand,
to mete out her own brand of justice, free of boundaries.
