Dagny Ragnarsdottir died with singular
honor: axe in hand, fighting with the Winter Dawn clan of the Scandinavian
tribe of the Aeruli, whose superhuman size, strength and savagery in battle
became a terrifying legend to those they invaded.
1500 years after Dagny's battle, geneticist
Gunnar Norsken took samples from her battlesite to prove the Aerulian legend
as fact for his doctoral thesis. The scientific |
community applauded, then forgot.
But not Dr. Norsken.
A decade later, the world looked for warriors
in the aftermath of the first Rikti invasion. Norsken thought of
his Aeruli. Crazed with grief and fear, he cloned the cleanest sample,
force-grew her with pirated Rikti tech, and presented her to the world.
This time, the scientific world exploded in fury.
Norsken was jailed. Dagny was taken
to Paragon City to consult with experts to put substance to her echoes
of memory and to use her formidable skills and temper on the brainpans
of criminals.
