Registered Name:  Azure Noir Secret Identity:  Alexandra Sophie Christiane Micaela von Azurin, aka Princess Alexandra of Valstrasse (Classified) Origin:  Natural  Archetype:  Blaster Primary Power Set:  Assault Rifle Secondary Power Set:  Devices As the only child of a wealthy European prince and an acclaimed Australian actress, the woman now known as Azure Noir lacked for nothing save privacy from the paparazzi -- a minor annoyance in an otherwise fairy tale life.  At 22, she was a gifted horsewoman, and along with her best mates, was a top pick for Australia's Olympic shooting team.

Severely injured in a riding accident days before qualifications, Azure was in the hospital when she -- and the rest of the world -- saw the first reports of the Rikti invasion.  New York, site of the qualifications, was one of the first cities struck.  Her team chose to fight back, bravely if briefly.

Out of love and respect for her fallen mates, Azure chose to do the same.  Bowing to security concerns, she underwent extensive cosmetic surgery, chose an alias, and came to Paragon City to use her sharpshooting talents to build a memorial on the bones of the Rikti.

Two years later, a legend in her own right, duty called her home for an experience that would leave her, Captain Superior, and the SOLUS Foundation all with new outlooks on life and heroism.
