His name was Eric Randal Moore - Energy Blastion.  They tell me it wasn’t.

The last thing he remembered, before waking up in a lab guarded by Longow elite, was a desperate battle during the Rikti war.  He was in the attack squadron, flying with airborne heroes that came from all over Paragon City.  They were trying to take down a massive Rikti warship.  It started firing on his wife, Nicole,
and his best friends in the SOLUS Collective who were covering a M.A.S.H. evacuation on the ground.  He dove, flying to their aid, trailing blue energy in my wake.  He heard the ear-splitting roar of the Rikti's plasma cannon behind me.  He saw a brief, blinding green flash.

And then he was here.

They tell me Eric Moore died in 2002.  War records say he was killed by the Rikti along with his wife, Empathy, and most all of the SOLUS Collective.  He was given a hero's burial.  There's a statue somewhere in his honor.  They say he was cloned by Crey Technologies to be a Paragon Protector, part of the Countess Crey's illegal Revenant Hero Project, after the she pulled strings to let her people be part of the salvage crew sent in to reclaim the area in 2005. 

Everyone tells me the memories of the war weren't his, any more than memories before it.  He wasn't born in Paragon City General Hospital in 1965.  He wasn't raised by Henry and Jessica Moore.  He wasn't the varsity quarterback of Steel Canyon High, and He never dropped out of school after blowing a knee in a scrimmage.  They claim that he never married his high school sweetheart - Nicole Tousseau, that he didn't help conceive his son - Brandon - on top of the Terra Volta reactor.  They tell me that Captain Superior was another man's friend, not his.

I see the look on their faces - on Brandon’s, on Cap’s, and on all the others he's never known that make up this new SOLUS Foundation.  I tell myself it’s because they miss the man that was Eric Moore, or rather the men that were, that it has nothing to do with me. 

But, their eyes tell me differently.

My name is Kyrbykr.  I'm a Kheldian.  A Peacebringer.  This body, well it belonged to Eric Moore, one of them in any case.  We merged after he was rescued by Captain Superior.  He chose to do so because his cloned body was failing. I was just an old Kheldian looking for a good home.  He rebuilt his life, and I was happy to let him.  And then a trap meant for someone else took him away.  Now, I inhabit his body alone, trying to bring him back.

His name was Eric Moore. Their eyes tell me I'm not.
