CITY OF HEROES - LIBERTY SERVER'S The SOLUS Foundation CAPTAIN SUPERIOR
In 2002, the Rikti came. They lost eight that week, among them Lazon. As the new leader, Captain Superior saw the Rikti destroy their base, killing another dozen of their members. Under his watch, he and the remaining few finally fell to the Rikti assault, holding the front lines with the Vanguard and Statesman's Alpha Team while Hero 1's Omega Team sacrificed themselves for the world. In 2005 they found him lying comatose beneath the ruins of the fallen skyscraper-turned-hospital they had been defending, his right arm vaporized, black and gold uniform in tatters, the scattered bones of his comrades all around him. After a year of solar and geo-thermal exposure, he eventually recovered, his arm regenerated, his skills returned, his contacts re-established. Though whole, he continues to wear the shell of his cybernetic arm in battle as a reminder of the debt he owes the fallen heroes of the SOLUS Collective and of the responsibilty that he has to his new friends in the SOLUS Foundation. Read the details of Captain Superiors death and miraculous "resurrection" in Estephan R.
