Anyway, I eventually managed to infect an experimental AI being designed to regulate internet traffic. That’s when I first found myself self-aware. Being self-aware, and having just finished assimilating a collection of painfully gothy poetry culled from various blogging websites, I decided that I really, really, needed to get off the internet. Choosing to completely blow off my original function, I went from system to system until I finally managed to find myself in the operational database of Project: Tin Soldier, an attempt by some or other shadowy coalition of dark forces to create a synthetic, cybernetic squad of meta- powered warriors. I downloaded myself into one of the prototypes and blew my way out of the lab. So here I am, in Paragon City, cutting out the bad. I’m here to save you.
