KID KOMET

Registered Name: Kid Komet Secret Identity:  Jack Thomas (Confidential) Origin:  Science Archetype:  Blaster Primary Power Set:  Energy Blast Secondary Power Set:  Energy Manipulation At just 12, Kid Komet is something of a phenom.  Being in the wrong place at the right time, Kid wandered into the Faultline region on a dare.  A large purple meteorite hit not more than 200 yards away.  Both he and the meteor were taken to Crey Industries for research.  The meteor was made of a unique radioactive ice.  As it continued to melt, it caused a change in the Kid.  Crey scientists claim that not enough of the matter survived for them to

Unfortunately for the Kid, he  became sensitive to warmth and needs to wear a cryogenic suit.  His body actually absorbs heat and converts it to the same radiation given off by the meteor.  This allows him to channel and discharge the radiation at will. 

It is most destructive. 

Being just 12 years old, the Kid is not interested in serving Crey Industry's interests, but wants to be what every child in Paragon dreams about...a superhero.  Crey Industries has not been shy about trying to get the Kid to return..at any cost. 

But he's still a kid at heart, and will spend hours telling you about his greatest thrill - having his picture taken with the heroine, Valkyrie.  She was always his favorite.
