would be to have superpowers of her own. But apart from a pretty
face and sweet personality, Savannah had no gifts at all. When she
found an ad from an |
alternative healer who promised to develop
latent superhero talents, it seemed a dream come true.
Though the healer claimed to use powers
of prayer, he actually used heavy-duty mutagens which altered the cellular
structure of his clientele. In Savannah's case, it brought up a gene
enabling her to generate weak amounts of magical fallout.
It was enough for Savannah. Overjoyed,
she made a uniform from a swimsuit and skirt, packed up her K-Mart best,
and caught the bus to Paragon City.
