Bambi Sheridan was a typical spoiled rich
girl, lost in her own world of fashion and petty feuds in college.
Even the arrival of the Rikti and the devastation they caused didn't penetrate
the sheltered life she lived.
That was, until the second Rikti invasion,
when her favorite mall was damaged by a Rikti bombardment and what was
left was completely destroyed in the ensuing battle between heroes and
the invaders.

So, when a Warshade, wounded in its escape
and desparate for a host, offered to merge with her, Bambi accepted as
a way to get rid of the nasty bugs that had destroyed her mall. Now,
she struggles with her new identity and with the unfamiliar urges of her
Warshade, who drives her to fight selflessly against evil while still remaining
fashionable under such trying circumstances.
