Once a talented arcanist, Vigor became
enmeshed with the Circle of Thorns, circa 1918. Though he quite voluntarilly
took part in the dark rituals of his group, he opposed his coven’s plan
to open a single passage portal to the netherworld that would be large
enough to summon a spectral noble.
Fighting against his companions, Vigor
prevented the summoning, though it required throwing himself through the
coalescing portal, thus |
imprisoning him in the land of the dead.
Close to a century later, a Circle of Thorns
summoning gone awry opened a portal for him to return.
Vigor Mortis (his name long forgotten)
now acts as a hero for the citizens, though rumors persist about what his
real motives might be…
